This ready-to-use 6-FAM DNA cartridge for fluorescent probe  labeling contains all required reagents for your in-house DNA probe synthesis.

Synthesize 100 bases in total with one cartridge. Each cartridge contains 75 nucleotides of A, T, C and G.

An extra vial safely collects all waste generated during your in-house custom DNA probe synthesis.

Overview

For DNA probe synthesis with Kilobaser DNA & RNA Synthesizer Extended Edition you need reagent cartridge and microfluidic chip

A 6-FAM DNA probe cartridge contains all necessary synthesis reagents (especially adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine in the form of phosphoramidites) for a total of 150 bases.

Kilobaser DNA & RNA Synthesizer uses argon or nitrogen gas pressure to transfer the reagent required for each synthesis step from the cartridge into the microfluidic chip.

Chip Combination
  • The 6-FAM cartridge and FISH microfluidic chip can be used to produce one or more DNA probes 6-FAM labeled at the 5’-end with a total of up to 100 bases, also known as FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) probes.
  • Combining the 6-FAM probe cartridge and BHQ-1 microfluidic Chips for probe synthesis, DNA probes with a total of up to 100 bases can be produced, also known as TaqMan probes.
