• Targeted Purification Technology

  The OliPure 6-FAM/BHQ-1 kit employs silica-based support material functionalized with C18 alkyl chains, providing selective binding through hydrophobic interactions. The 300 Å pore size ensures optimal accessibility for oligonucleotide diffusion while maintaining high binding capacity.

  
  

  This targeted approach recognizes that different oligonucleotide modifications require distinct purification strategies. By focusing specifically on 6-FAM/BHQ-1 dual-labeled probes, we've refined our protocols to deliver superior purity and yield for these constructs.

• Five-Step Protocol

  1. Binding phase: Crude probe dissolved in TEAA buffer (included) binds to the hydrophobic resin

  2. First wash: 25% acetonitrile removes unbound 6-FAM and incomplete probes

  3. Salt removal: Aqueous wash eliminates residual salts and synthesis byproducts

  4. Elution: 50% acetonitrile releases the purified probe

  5. Dry: Use Kilobaser to dry the product

  
  

  The entire process completes in under 10 minutes using standard laboratory centrifuges, with visual color changes providing immediate feedback on purification progress.
